Ally McCoist fires perfect shot at Chris Sutton ahead of season
Ally McCoist perfectly shut down Chris Sutton on Friday evening as he shared his early verdict on Rangers and Celtic.
Celtic crashed out of the Champions League at the first hurdle, with the Bears starting their campaign against Malmo next week.
McCoist predicted a massive clash with the Swedes, and hoped that Rangers can get into the group stage for Scottish football.

Speaking on BT Sport Scottish Football Extra, McCoist perfectly shut down Sutton before the show even kicked off.
“The easiest thing for me to do to restart the show would be to say Chris’ team is out of Europe before the programme starts,” he said.
“I’m very much looking forward to the against Malmo, it’s a massive, massive game.
“I just hope there’s continued improvement in Rangers, particularly in Europe this year, because to qualify for the Champions League group stage would be a brilliant achievement.”

Tears.
Sutton is still reeling from Celtic once again humiliating themselves in Europe, something we can’t relate with in recent years.
With the champions of Scotland now being given automatic qualification to the group stages of the Champions League from next season, Rangers will be looking to skip that stage.
It shouldn’t take too much given how Celtic have performed, but we still have to go out and do the business.
McCoist is here to give us our laughs throughout the season, and if it continues like this as we go, it could be one of the best yet – even better than the last campaign.
Steven Gerrard will be desperate to get into the Champions League, it would be the next step in our progression, something we can’t wait to see.
