John Lundstram set to feature for Rangers v Tranmere
Rangers midfielder John Lundstram could make his debut this afternoon in the pre-season friendly against Tranmere.
The Bears confirmed the signing of the former Sheffield United man this week, agreeing to a three-year deal at Ibrox.
Steven Gerrard was delighted with the capture, and immediately involved the player in the squad for training at Liverpool.
Glasgow Live shared an update on his fitness this week.
It is suggested that Lundstram is ready to feature at Prenton Park, in what could be the first chance we get to see our new man.
As well as that, there could be another new signing on show.
Nnamdi Ofoborh was confirmed at Ibrox back in the winter window but was sent out on loan by Gerrard to Wycombe.
The midfield has now arrived at Ibrox, and could also look to stake his claim in the first-team this afternoon.
Lundstram is the big name that everyone will want to see this afternoon.
It was a real statement signing from the Bears, and if he can settle in right at Ibrox, he could be one of the biggest names in the Scottish Premiership.
Cedric Itten bagged the winner against Partick Thistle this week, and there were a number of younger players involved.
Gerrard will most likely rotate his squad yet again at Tranmere, and there will be chances for everyone to impress.
All eyes will be on Lundstram though, as he looks to make an immediate impact on this Light Blues side.
