Confirmed Rangers starting XI v Tranmere
Rangers go into their second pre-season friendly this afternoon, this time travelling to take on Tranmere.
John Lundstram has been handed his full debut for the club, but Nnamdi Ofoborh will need to wait and is not involved.
Confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, the Bears have also welcomed back the likes of Ryan Kent into the side.
Gerrard will be looking for every member of his squad to step up and make an impression in these games.
The Gers will want a more convincing display than the one against Partick Thistle through the week, too.
It was a laboured performance, which Cedric Itten bailed his side out of with a late winner at Fir Hill.
Lundstram will be ready to go after penning his contract at Ibrox, and the travelling faithful will be buzzing to see that.
After training at Liverpool’s new state of the art complex all week, there will be confidence in the side after some real preperation.
The likes of George Edmundson and Jordan Jones are on the bench and will be looking to prove they can impact one of our stronger starting XI’s.
Gerrard will want a big performance from his men, especially given that the younger options that were handed chances through the week, haven’t made the trip.
This is much more similar to the side that we will see in the Scottish Premiership next month, minus Glenn Middleton, who may still have a chance to prove he deserves the chance to stick around.
