Chris Sutton reacts to James Tavernier-Manchester United link

Chris Sutton has once again proved his obsession with Rangers this week as he can’t help himself on Twitter.

James Tavernier has been incredibly linked with Manchester United, although insisting he is happy at Ibrox.

Despite it having nothing to do with Sutton or his miserable Celtic, he still wormed his way into the debate.

There has been a huge shift in power over the past year in Glasgow, and these big names and links are clearly getting to the green half.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Sutton responded with a three-word message to the news.

“This is unlikely,” he wrote.

Tears.

What’s wrong Chris?

It must be hard knowing that none of your players are that desirable anymore, especially after being embarrassed in the Scottish Premiership last season.

The difference between the two clubs is that none of our players are screaming to leave when these clubs come calling.

Odsonne Edouard has been the centre of attention for years, and every single summer he begs to leave Parkhead, we don’t see our skipper doing that.

It isn’t that unlikely either. Manchester United are most likely looking for a back-up to Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and there are no right-backs posting the incredible numbers that Tavernier is every season.

Unfortunately for them, he’s going nowhere but instead will haunt Sutton for yet another year of dominance in Glasgow.

We can’t wait to see him lift 56 next season and even add Champions League football to his very impressive resume.
