Rangers have been urged by their Super Fans to sell in-demand striker Alfredo Morelos as it appears that the Colombian could part ways with the club soon.

Portuguese news outlet A Bola have reported that the Gers are in advanced talks with FC Porto over the transfer, and despite it being disproved, there still appears a feeling that the striker would be leaving this season.

It may take something gargantuan to convince the player, but with only two years left on his deal, a number of Gers supporters believe the right thing to do is make the most of the demand this summer.

Recent reports suggested that FC Porto were to table a £10million bid for the player which is not what Rangers value the player at. [The Scottish Sun]

He’s seen as an asset that could fetch a fee in the region of £15million, and Porto aren’t close to matching that valuation thus far.

We knew once the window began that there was going to be a lot of talk surrounding the player’s future and that’s precisely what has happened.

The fact that he or his representatives haven’t come out to definitely deny any interest suggests that he’s happy with the interest being driven up and does feel the time has come for a move away from the club.

Keeping someone that doesn’t want to be here is not going to benefit anyone so we should do what we can to get the most off his sale and focus on rebuilding our squad for next season.
