Spotted: Latest leaked image of new Rangers 2021/22 kit surfaces online

A new image has surfaced online that appears to show the 2021/22 Rangers home kit that the Scottish champions will don next season.

It’s still more than a month until Steven Gerrard’s side begin the defence of their title at Ibrox against Livingston (July 31), before they embark on their European campaign with a Champions League third-round qualifying tie.

Rangers fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the kit that their heroes will be wearing, with earlier reports suggesting it may not be until July, the month the Gers return to action.

But a new image has emerged online in what appears to be another leak.

The Kitman posted a photo of a banner that depicts captain James Tavernier in the new home kit.

They wrote: “From the image we can see that the new Rangers home shirt is blue with tonal pinstripes running down the front of the jersey.

“Both the collar and cuffs are coloured white.

“The Castore crest on the right breast and the Rangers FC crest on the left breast are coloured gold as is the 32Red shirt sponsor.”

Time to get excited

We’re nearing the start of the season now, and we can’t wait for it.

It doesn’t feel like too long ago that we finished our 2020/21 campaign, especially with the deluge of international football thrust upon us with Euro 2020.

There have been a few Rangers stars to watch out for, including Nathan Patterson and Glen Kamara, but we’d rather see them all together in the Light Blues strip.

It’s a bit peculiar that we have to wait so long to see the strips, but we’re sure it will be worth the wait.

These kit launches are always an exciting time, especially for younger children who might be buying their first Rangers jersey’s, but it’s also a chance to get a glimpse of what the first-team stars will be wearing as they bid to make history once again.

It’s hard to top last season’s Scottish Premiership achievements, after going 38 games unbeaten, but put nothing past this side under Gerrard – we could get even more points.

Futhermore, there is room for improvement in the cup competitions, and we’re looking forward to seeing some new signings in these new kits as well.

In other Rangers news, Kris Boyd has made an exciting prediction about this Light Blues ace after his Euro 2020 involvement.
