Rangers could be set for substantial finance boost by selling Ianis Hagi - report
Rangers have been backed to collect “a lot of money” if they decide to sell Ianis Hagi this summer, according to Playtech.
The Romanian international was hit by a “colossal” surprise when arriving in Middlesbrough this weekend, being mobbed by fans before the friendly with England this evening.
Hagi has been linked with numerous moves already, with the likes of Sevilla, Lazio and Galatasaray all queuing up to make their bids.
The Romanian outlet have reported on their website that German side Bochum are set to step up their interest this week.
Despite promotion to the Bundesliga, they made the decision to sell their top-scorer, and they have supposedly made Hagi their main target to replace him.
There will be so many reports linking Hagi with a move away this summer, and different developments on top of that, but he appears to remain happy in Glasgow as things stand.
The Scotsman have reported this weekend that Hagi is content with life at Ibrox, despite admitting he would love to move to Galatasaray in his career.
It is hard to imagine that the Romanian would be happy moving to Bochum, and fighting to stay up in the Bundesliga while Rangers go for more silverware and have Champions League football.
After delivering 15 assists in all competitions, Steven Gerrard will be wanting his playmaker to push on and try and hit 30 goals involvements next season.
With so much to play for after our year of dominance in Scotland, we expect Hagi to stick around, at least for one more season.
