Sir Kenny Dalglish: Gerrard & Wilson will be plotting Rangers transfers already
Sir Kenny Dalglish has predicted that Rangers will already be plotting their transfer business for the upcoming summer.
The Bears crushed the competition last season, and it has been predicted that Steven Gerrard and Ross Wilson will be communicating daily.
Dalglish believes it will be “impossible” to rest for the likes of Gerrard, who he thinks will be making moves to improve his squad even further.
Writing in his Sunday Post column, Dalglish has insisted that the main goal at Ibrox will be to push on and make this dominance longer than one year.
“They are on a well-deserved break from club football, and it will give the manager and his staff the chance to recharge their batteries,” he said.
“But they will not have a complete rest. That is just impossible. Steven’s phone will still be red-hot, and he’ll still be working closely with the board and Ross Wilson on a daily basis.
“They will be determined to build on this season and keep the success going.”
Business as usual.
This is what makes us majorly confident that we will crush the likes of Celtic all over again next season in the Scottish Premiership.
Whereas Gerrard and Wilson are already plotting on improving this squad, our fierce rivals don’t have a manager and will need a complete rebuild of their team.
There aren’t many areas that need reinforcing at Ibrox, especially after the arrival of Fashion Sakala on a pre-contract deal.
With the likes of Steven Davis and Allan McGregor staying on for another year too, there is that core of experience that has been so vital in this success.
A couple of new faces at the club to reinforce areas such as defence and midfield, the mighty Bears could break even more records next season; bring it on.
