Alex McLeish: Rangers have sent 'amazing' amount of messages to nearest rivals

We’re delighted to welcome former Rangers manager Alex McLeish as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Ibrox…

Alex McLeish believes that Rangers have sent out an “amazing” amount of messages to their nearest rivals this season.

The Bears finished the Scottish Premiership campaign as invincible and smashed past the 100-point mark with a 4-0 win over Aberdeen.

McLeish believes that it has been an “incredible” season and that teams will be worried ahead of the next campaign already.

Speaking exclusively to Ibrox News, McLeish said, “They’ve sent an amazing amount of messages.

“If you think of the goals they have lost, at Ibrox, they’ve only lost four goals. They’ve created incredible records, going over the 100 point barrier, finishing the season unbeaten.

“They’ve found a fantastic formula this season, whether that will work for next season remains to be seen.”

Watch out.

Let’s be honest, this message is to Celtic.

Our nearest rivals have collapsed this season and still haven’t resolved their managerial situation after one of their worst-ever, most embarrassing campaigns ever.

Things are perfect at Ibrox, Steven Gerrard has established himself massively in his three years at the helm, and has already started his transfer plans for the title defence.

Fashion Sakala and Nnamdi Ofoborh are coming to Glasgow in the coming weeks, and they will be ready to go in both the Champions League and the Scottish Premiership.

McLeish has been close to the Bears camp all season, and he can’t stop singing the praises of this squad and everyone at the club, this is a huge warning to our rivals.
