Jim White shares instant Twitter reaction as Rangers lift Scottish Premiership title

Jim White has shared his instant reaction to Rangers lifting their 55th Scottish Premiership title on Saturday afternoon at Ibrox.

The Bears finished in style as they crushed Aberdeen by four goals to none, with an own-goal, Kemar Roofe and Jermain Defoe putting the icing on the cake.

White is a massive Gers fan and has made it no secret, as the celebrations start and will go late into the night throughout Glasgow this evening.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, White shared his instant reaction as the Bears finally got their hands on the Scottish Premiership title.

“Simply awesome achievement,” he wrote.

This is the moment we have all been waiting for.

Having known the title was ours in recent months, it would have been easy for the performance levels to drop knowing it was in the bank.

That didn’t happen, and this is a credit to Steven Gerrard and his entire squad, staff and the fans, who have been giving all of their support despite being away from the action for so long.

White is all of us right now, sitting in shock that this was achievable, but it is, and we have to be immensely proud of every last person at the club, we have to remember where we were only four years ago, and that makes it even more special.

This is just the beginning, and we need to prepare for more success and dominance next season and beyond.
