Rangers return to the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday evening as they travel to take on St. Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.
The Bears were phenomenal on Sunday afternoon as they made sure that Celtic won’t be winning any silverware this season.
Steven Gerrard doesn’t have any time to rest though, with the quarter-finals also coming up next weekend against the same opposition.
Allan McGregor will continue in net, with the stopper simply undroppable as he saved yet another penalty in the 2-0 win.
The back four will see one huge change.
Borna Barisic, Conor Goldson and Filip Helander will all continue in defence, as the likes of Leon Balogun remain sidelined with their injuries.
The biggest swap will be skipper James Tavernier returning to the starting XI, meaning that Nathan Patterson will have to sit on the bench, despite Gary McAllister labelling him “outstanding” earlier today.
We still can’t get over the overhead kick from Steven Davis on Sunday, and who knows? He could make it consecutive goals tomorrow, but we won’t hold our breath.
Glen Kamara will continue, but it will be Joe Aribo dropping deeper into midfield, pushing Scott Arfield onto the bench as we want more attacking options.
That leaves the space for Scott Wright to come back into the side, as he completed his media duties on Tuesday afternoon; was this a hint?
Alfredo Morelos is screaming out for a goal, and Gerrard won’t want to drop the Colombian as it could dent his confidence moving forward.
Completing the side will of course be Ryan Kent, with the winger irresistible against Celtic, we still think he may have Scott Brown in his back pocket.
Here’s how we expect the Bears to line up…
