Alan Nixon urges Premier League to invite Rangers & Celtic next season
Alan Nixon has called for the Premier League to invite Rangers and Celtic into the competition from the 2021/22 season.
The English league could be facing a huge transformation, with six clubs signing up to the new proposed European Super League.
Both Manchester club, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs are now facing the possibility of being exiled from the Premier League, leaving only 14 clubs behind.
The Sun journalist, Nixon has taken to his personal Twitter account and has fired a message to Richard Scudamore and the 14 clubs left.
“The 14 need to get lively,” he said.
“Meet and vote to kick out the Big Six. Appoint a leader. What’s Scudamore doing? Invite Rangers and Celtic to the Premier next season.

Revolution is coming.
Wow. It feels strange to wake up in Scotland to English football burning down with outrage coming from everywhere south of the border.
Nixon went on to say that the Old Firm clubs would “gladly” accept the invitation into the Premier League, and it would end the long-standing argument of whether we could succeed.
The income would be marvellous and improve incredibly at Ibrox, so why wouldn’t we accept this?
It could also increase the chances of Steven Gerrard and our big-name players such as Alfredo Morelos staying in Glasgow, as their goal of Premier League football could instantly come true without moving.
We say bring it on, although we know that it won’t be as easy as just accepting an invitation, this is just an idea, afterall.
