Steven Gerrard sends message to Arsenal after 4-0 demolition v Slavia Praha

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has delivered a message to Arsenal after their 4-0 demolition job against Slavia Praha on Thursday evening.

The Gunners were irresistible and even took a huge stand after Ondrej Kudela was found guilty of racially abusing Glen Kamara this week.

Slavia’s squad stood in a line, rather than taking the knee – something that Alexandre Lacazette did only metres in front of them when confronting the entire side.

Speaking in his press conference this morning, Gerrard admitted that he loved everything Arsenal did before and during the clash last night.

“I loved everything about Arsenal’s performance,” he said.

“I admired their approach before the game, during the game and after it. The way players and manager spoke and then to back it up with that performance.”

Deserved.

Slavia Praha got what was coming to them, and they were absolutely destroyed last night by Arsenal, and all their stands against racism were superficial.

The Czech club have embarrassed themselves by nearly releasing 30 statements since the incident with Kamara, with the majority of them claiming none of this actually happened.

Watching Lacazette walk towards their squad and take the knee on the halfway line was a moment many will never forget, and for him to take matters into his hands on the pitch was even better.

Slavia Praha shouldn’t have even been in the Europa League and the disgraceful incidents at Ibrox, although they crashed out in embarrassing style.

Thankfully, Kamara and others won’t have to watch that club get the spotlight on them as much now in the competition, thanks to Arsenal.
