Chris Sutton aims swipe at Rangers live on BT Sports during Celtic clash

Chris Sutton has once again aimed a swipe at Rangers live on BT Sports on Saturday afternoon while watching Celtic.

The Old Firm rivals celebrated beating Livingston as if they had won the Scottish Premiership after their shocking campaign.

Steven Gerrard’s men have two games against our fierce rivals in the league and the Scottish Cup coming up, as they look to seal the domestic double.

Rangers

Speaking during BT Sport Score alongside the likes of Robbie Savage, Sutton claimed that the Bears will be nervous watching Celtic this afternoon.

“Rangers will be quaking in their boots,” he simply said.

That verdict came after David Turnbull scored the second goal, not that many were watching alongside Sutton this afternoon.

Rangers

Next joke?

We can only simply laugh that Sutton continues to drive this narrative that Celtic are coming back fighting despite their shocking season so far.

The Hoops have had plenty of chances to prove their point this season, but in three Old Firm clashes, they have only scored once.

Celtic and everyone involved at Parkhead continues to talk up these upcoming games as huge events, but Rangers are simply going game-by-game.

It would be brilliant if we were to get through this season unbeaten in five Old Firms.

The Bears have Hibernian to think about first, and with the 55th Scottish Premiership title having been sealed weeks ago, there won’t be many of the squad even keeping track of this game today.

Keep on dreaming, Chris.
