Tam McManus & Alan Rough disagree in predictions for Rangers clash v Hibernian

Tam McManus and Alan Rough have disagreed with their predictions for the upcoming Scottish Premiership clash between Rangers and Hibernian.

The Bears start their charge towards an invincibles campaign, and Rough believes they will start the season-spilt with another victory.

McManus has backed Hibs to cause some sort of a small upset by leaving Glasgow with a point in a 2-2 draw at Ibrox.

Speaking to The Football Show on PLZ Soccer, Rough claimed that there is a guarantee that the Bears will find the back of the net on Sunday.

“I think Rangers have got everything behind them,” he said.

“The Hibs defence, when tested they let themselves down against the bigger sides. Rangers are going to score, they always score at home; I’m going to go for a 2-1 win.

McManus disagreed and claimed that his former side can come away from the impenetrable Ibrox with more than a defeat this weekend.

“I think Hibs can get a point.

“I’m going to go for it, I think it will be two each.”

Rangers

Classic McManus.

It’s not like Tam to go against the Bears, we say that with as much sarcasm as you can imagine this evening.

Hibernian are pushing for third place in the Scottish Premiership with Aberdeen, and they will be dreading starting the season split with the hardest trip imaginable.

With the title secure, it would be easy to take the foot off the gas, but Steven Gerrard will not allow that from his squad with the demands higher than ever.

Two games against Celtic are on the horizon and the Bears can go into those at full strength with some comfortable wins, starting with this one.
