Glen Kamara aware of Premier League interest, wants new Rangers contract – report

Rangers star Glen Kamara has become aware of strong interest from the English Premier League as this season comes to an end.

The Finland international has been one of the main men at Ibrox as the Bears ended Celtic’s nine-year run of titles in Scotland.

GIVEMESPORT have reported on their website that Kamara has been told about the outside interest, but that he doesn’t plan to act on that.

Reporting on their website, it is suggested that Kamara would instead prefer to extend his current deal at Auchenhowie and earn a pay-rise.

As well as a wage boost, this would keep the midfielder in Glasgow for a considerable amount of time as Steven Gerrard plots the start of a dominant run.

Kamara still has two years remaining on his current deal, and it is suggested that the club are in no rush to meet his demands despite the fact they want him to stay at Ibrox.

Rangers

Playing with fire.

We would prefer for Kamara’s future to be secured as soon as possible, rather than waiting as long we can which could open the door for someone to steal a cheap deal.

The Finnish international has kept his head high and starred in recent weeks, despite the racial abuse from Ondrej Kudela and constant media reports, letting his football do the talking.

With Ryan Jack out for the foreseeable future, he will play a key role in the final five league games as we hunt for the invincible season.

Kamara should be rewarded instantly for playing his part this season, and a new big-money deal will be celebrated from the rooftops if it is completed.
