PL side join Rangers in hunt for Peterborough star Clarke-Harris report
Rangers look set to battle a host of English clubs for the signing of Peterborough striker Jonson Clarke-Harris, according to Bristol Post.
Football Insider linked Rangers with a move for the in-form forward a few days ago and it looks as if they aren’t the only side to have noticed the talented attacker.
Sheffield United are the latest side to be linked with a move for Clarke-Harris after West Brom and Bournemouth were noted as interested parties a few weeks ago by Bristol Live.
The Blades are gearing up for a return to the Championship after a shambolic Premier League season as this new report claims the club want Clarke-Harris to fire them back to the Premier League.
Sheffield United’s new under 23s coach Graham Coughlan has worked with the striker before and Bristol Live claim the pair are still in contact which may give the Blades a boost in their pursuit.
Clarke-Harris has scored 25 goals in 37 League One appearances for Posh this season and notched an impressive hat-trick in the 7-0 demolition of Accrington Stanley at the weekend.

Alfredo Morelos, Kemar Roofe, Cedric Itten and Jermain Defoe are all vying for that position and Morelos is the clear choice to start.
Defoe is getting on a bit now and Morelos is sure to be the subject of transfer interest this summer so Clarke-Harris may be being eyed as a replacement if one of our forwards does go.
If it is a straight fight between us and Sheffield United the choice has to be us, right?
