Ibrox View: Transfer report linking Lazio with move for Rangers ace Ianis Hagi laughable

Rangers have dominated the Scottish Premiership this season, and that has come with the inevitable interest in a number of their players.

Steven Gerrard has built a squad full of depth and each of his players have played a massive role in bringing the title back to Ibrox.

Bears playmaker Ianis Hagi is one of those who has been linked with a number of different moves, and that speculation is still ongoing.

Rangers

Noi Biancocelesti has reported on their website that Serie A side Lazio are still interested in the Romanian international, as the summer window quickly approaches.

The Italian outlet believes that the Gers have set a slender price tag on their playmaker, and would take £5.1million to sell.

That is simply laughable.

Having arrived for £3million from Genk, Hagi has certainly doubled his value at the minimum after his exploits in Scotland and in Europe.

Add to that the fact he has established himself internationally with Romania in recent years, his value is soaring with each game he succeeds in.

Rangers

Standout.

Despite being replaced and making more substitute appearances than other important players in this Bears squad, Hagi is still topping the charts.

The 22-year-old has delivered 15 goal involvements in the Scottish Premiership, something only James Tavernier has bettered at Ibrox.

Ryan Kent also has 15 involvements, but he has started 12 more games for Gerrard; something which highlights just how effective Hagi has been.

This latest transfer report is simply laughable, and there is no chance that Hagi will be leaving, especially at that valuation.
