Czech lawyer makes explosive new claim about goalkeeper injury in Rangers v Slavia Prague

Slavia Prague have approach lawyer Radek Pokorný to defend them in their dispute with Rangers, according to Seznam Zpravy.

The Czech news outlet claims Pokorný has been tasked with investigating the alleged racist abuse of Glen Kamara by Ondrej Kudela, the alleged incident after the game in the tunnel and the course of the entire match.

It seems as though Pokorný will also investigate Kemar Roofe’s red-card challenge on Slavia’s goalkeeper Ondrej Kolar, with the Czech lawyer making a huge claim which suggests the incident was premeditated.

Speaking to Seznam Zpravy, Pokorný said: “So far, we haven’t found anything to suggest any mistake on Slavia or her players.

“There is an indisputable intention to attack Mr Kudela, there are witnesses and we have indications that even the injury of goalkeeper Slavia was not accidental. We are now researching and solving this.”

Seznam Zpravy also adds Kolar “was not provided with sufficient medical care after the match”.

Deflection, deflection, deflection

It’s pretty clear to see how Slavia Prague are trying to clear themselves and Kudela of any wrongdoing at Ibrox last week.

If you’ve been following the updates we’ve been sharing from the Czech Republic, there seems to be a fresh accusation levelled at Rangers every day.

We’ve heard about how Kamara allegedly attacked Kudela after the game, how a player claims Rangers fans stopped Slavia players entering their dressing room, how Kamara’s racism accusation against Kudela is “imaginary” and that there were incidents in the first leg in Prague that Rangers are guilty of.

Now, we have claims that Kolar wasn’t treated well enough after Roofe’s challenge and that there was malicious intent behind it.

All of this is coming to light after Kamara accused Kudela of racially abusing him.

Coincedence? We’ll let you decide.

But it seems to us that Slavia and the Czech press are doing their best to bury the alleged racist incident by creating more news and making more accusations against Rangers and their players.

We don’t condone Roofe’s challenge on Kolar for one second. It was horrific and he got the deserved punishment of a red card.

But did he mean it? No. Was it premeditated? Absolutely not.
