Super Computer predicts Rangers will be ‘champion of champions’
Rangers have won the Premiership at a canter and the only question left to be answered now is how many points we can rack up.
With five games left we’re an incredible 20 points ahead of Celtic and 11 points off making the century.
According to The Scottish Sun, using data from BettingExpert, Rangers will break the 100-point barrier and end up with the highest total of any of the top 20 leagues in continental Europe.
Norwich come next and they’re predicted to end on 96 points, followed by Inter Milan on 91.
A BettingExpert spokesman was quoted as saying, “In what could be an unbeaten season for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership, they’re on course to be the ‘champion of champions’ of Europe – according to our supercomputer.
“After a 10-year wait, Rangers will once again be able to call themselves the best team in Scotland – and now statistically the best in Europe.”
100 club
If our players need any motivation to keep their insane levels up until the end of the season, this is it.
An Invincibles season is five games away, with one Old Firm clash left.
Four wins from five would see us smash through the 100-point barrier in the Premiership.
Those two accolades would be the cherry on top of a brilliant campaign.
The players are showing no signs of letting up, either, managing to lift themselves after the horrific events of last Thursday to draw with Celtic on Sunday.
The next game is Cove Rangers in the cup after the international break before the final stage of the Premiership kicks in.
Then it will be all eyes focused on the Champions League and a defence of the title that will probably see Rangers qualify automatically for the group stage of the Champions League.
That will come with the sort of financial reward that could see Rangers stay as ‘champion of champions’ for a number of years to come.
