Jim White reacts to Rangers continuing invincible streak after drawing 1-1 in Old Firm

Jim White is delighted that Rangers have maintained their unbeaten record after drawing 1-1 with Celtic.

It was a tough game for Gers and they had to rely on Allan McGregor once again to keep them in the match.

Alfredo Morelos notched his first league goal against Celtic but that was just one of three shots on targets from Steven Gerrard’s side.

Nevertheless, White was upbeat in tweeting his instant reaction to the match, saying: “So 1-1 at Celtic Park – champions Rangers ‘Invincibles’ run goes on!”

He made sure to note the fact Rangers are still on course for an invincible season while calling them champions – that is sure to get under the skin of Celtic fans.

Remaining unbeaten

The trip to Parkhead was undoubtedly the trickiest match we have left in the Scottish Premiership.

To recover from Thursday’s match and earn a draw was hugely impressive and epitomises what we have been all about this season.

Rangers

We always find a way, always pop up with a vital goal and because of that we feel that remaining unbeaten until the end of the season is a very realistic prospect.

Gers of course still have to welcome Celtic to Ibrox but since we have not lost to them in four matches we do not see them beating us.

To their credit, they were arguably better than us on Sunday but it is worth remembering our players had little recovery time after Slavia Prague.

We could also have the likes of James Tavernier and Ryan Jack back for that match and that will no doubt improve the side.

As long as we maintain our focus achieving invincibility is within our grasp, and Stevie G will ensure the players fight in every game.
