Confirmed Rangers starting XI v Slavia Prague
Steven Gerrard has confirmed his starting XI for the Europa League game against Slavia Prague at Ibrox tonight.
The team news was announced on the official Rangers Twitter page ahead of the 8pm kick-off.
Kemar Roofe and Ianis Hagi are on the bench, with Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent spearheading the attack.
Nathan Patterson starts, with Scott Arfield and Steven Davis in midfield. Goal-scoring hero from the last leg, Filip Helander, is dropped to the bench in favour of Leon Balogun.
The game is live on BT Sport.
On a knife-edge
The tie is delicately poised after Filip Helander snatched what could be a vital away goal in the first leg in the Czech Republic.
A clean sheet will be enough to book our place in the Europa League quarter-finals and get our name among some of the giants of the game.
It won’t be easy, though.
After letting in five against Antwerp, Rangers need to be a lot tighter at the back and defence is arguably more important than attack tonight.
Rangers are big favourites with the bookies to go through and are 5/4 to win the game in 90 minutes and make it ultra-safe.
