BT Sport shares inspiring Rangers preview for Slavia Praha clash
Rangers are set to welcome Slavia Praha to Glasgow this evening with a spot in the Europa League quarter-finals on the line.
The Bears have the upperhand over the Czech side after returning to Ibrox last week with an away goal after the 1-1 draw.
Steven Gerrard has already delivered the Scottish Premiership title, and the Europa League is next on the agenda to add to his legacy.
BT Sport has shared an inspiring preview for the clash on their official Twitter account, and it includes a huge monologue from WWE superstar Drew McIntyre.
“The fight for glory, it never ends,” he says.
“It’s a way of life for Rangers Football Club, our comeback is now complete. Glasgow is red, white and blue; we’re the champions. Our 55th title done, can you see us now?
“Now in Europe, we dare to dream. Fortress Ibrox en route to Gdansk, Rangers are coming. For our road to greatness is eternal, our fight our glory, it never ends.”
Wow, the goosebumps have started already.
The Bears have a massive opportunity this evening and have given themselves a gigantic chance to reach the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
During Celtic’s so-called run of dominance, they never challenged in Europe and that is testament to this Gers squad who are putting Scotland back on the map.
With the Old Firm on Sunday too, it is hard to think of a bigger week in recent years at Ibrox, and the squad will be raring to get stuck into it.
The likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Spurs are all still in the competition, and we would love the chance to be unleashed at a Premier League side.
This preview has us raring to go, bring it on.
