Every week we’ll be asking Rangers fans on our Facebook account for questions that will be answered by Ibrox News editor Ben Wild. You can join in by following the Rangers Insider Facebook account and watching out for weekly mailbag posts.

After finally securing the Premiership title and the fabled No.55, Rangers could be forgiven for resting up and focusing all their efforts on Europe.

The Blue side of Glasgow has held its collective breath for more than half a year but a palpable relief could be felt last Sunday when Celtic failed to beat Dundee United to ensure the Gers were mathematically champions.

Progress to the latter stages of the Europa League is now firmly in their sights but there are still six games left to go in the current domestic campaign.

After wrapping up the title we wanted to know what was on your mind and asked you to submit questions for our new weekly mailbag for Ibrox News editor Ben Wild to answer.

Here is one from Kyle RC (kyleRC_)

Rangers

Steven Gerrard won’t admit it but he’ll be fuming if Rangers don’t finish the Scottish Premiership season unbeaten. There is no trophy for it but there is no denying the quality of a side that goes a full league season without experiencing a defeat.

In general, Gerrard will want to keep that winning mentality up for as long as he is at the club. The job isn’t done. He’ll want to win more titles and have a good crack at the Champions League next season so we’ll need to keep that mentality.

Don’t forget we’re still in the Europa League and if we make it to the last eight Gerrard will begin to believe we have a shot at winning it. Naturally, there will be some easing off by the players in league games, especially with the title wrapped up but there’s still an Old Firm to win.

Rangers

In short, Gerrard will maintain that the season isn’t over until the last ball is kicked on the last day and until then his players should be giving everything to win every game, even if it doesn’t matter.

You can be sure that Stevie G will be furious if we drop our performance levels and finish the season with a defeat on our league record.
