Adrian Durham blown away by Allan McGregor in Rangers draw v Slavia Praha

Rangers took home an impressive 1-1 draw against Slavia Praha in their Europa League round-of-16 tie on Thursday evening.

The Bears went behind early on but battled back well before Filip Helander tapped home the equaliser to return to Ibrox with an away goal.

It wasn’t without a scare though, with Allan McGregor having to come up with a moment of magic to secure the draw in Prague.

McGregor managed to claw back a header that looked destined for the bottom corner, keeping hold of the ball and releasing huge amounts of pressure.

TalkSPORT host Adrian Durham reacted to the save on his personal Twitter account during the game, and his words summed it up perfectly.

“That Allan McGregor save is actually impossible,” he said.

What a moment this was.

This all-but-solidifies McGregor’s spot at the top of the charts in regards to the Player of the Year award at Ibrox, with this certainly not a one-off.

In typical fashion, he played it down after the game and kept it calm despite the fact that inside he will have been delighted with his efforts.

The Bears squad in the box from that corner thought they had conceded, with Nathan Patterson even having his hands on his head, but he quickly threw them down.

McGregor has been sensational, and this save proves that he still has what it takes to stick around at Ibrox for more than one year, with his reflexes incredible.
