Kenny Miller wowed by scenes outside Ibrox as Rangers win title
Kenny Miller was blown away by the “phenomenal scenes” outside of Ibrox after it was confirmed that Rangers are Premiership champions at the weekend.
Rangers supporters flooded onto the streets of Glasgow on Sunday as Celtic’s 0-0 draw with Dundee United meant Steven Gerrard’s men would be crowned Scottish champions for the 55th time.
Ex-Gers striker Miller took to his personal Instagram account to react to the scenes outside Ibrox on Edmiston Drive.
He said: “Phenomenal scenes.
“Will enjoy it even more with everything we have been through.
“Unwavering support, never taken for granted.”
Best title win ever?
We’ve been through hell in the last 10 years but to come back and finally win the Premiership title is absolutely massive.
We haven’t seen celebrations across Glasgow like this before but if fans were inside Ibrox, would it have been a bit quieter in and around the city at the weekend?
Edminston Drive was packed the Gers fans on Sunday after Celtic’s failure to win – again – handed us the title.
We’ve all been locked up in our houses, not being able to attend football matches for pretty much a year now so for something so massive happen, it was just a huge wave of relief and sheer delight that led to those scenes.
Was it our best ever title win?
If we see out the Premiership season unbeaten then there’s definitely a massive case for it but for the overall feeling, we don’t think there’s been anything better since Helicopter Sunday.
And even then, winning this title in this manner has made it all the sweeter.
It just would have been better if fans could attend matches, that’s the only gripe we have.
