Rangers fans were less than impressed by Ianis Hagi’s first-half performance against Royal Antwerp at Ibrox on Thursday night.
Although the Gers enjoyed the better chances in the opening period and Hagi had a few pops at goal, the Romania international was rather wasteful.
There were a couple of opportunities where he could have passed the ball to Alfredo Morelos, who was visibly frustrated with the attacking midfielder when he had a shot from about 30 yards out.
Hagi also powered a shot straight at the Antwerp goalkeeper from a tight angle when Morelos was waiting in the penalty area.
Hagi created a lot but ultimately, his decision making was off and that cost the Light Blues in between Morelos’ opening goal and Antwerp’s equaliser.
We’ll see whether Hagi improves after the break but these fans were not happy with his “awful” display in the opening 45 minutes.

Hagi is starting to annoy me tonight.
It's slack. He's wasting good moves created by others.@RangersFC

Hagi has blown hot and cold this season.
The 22-year-old has scored six goals and assisted a further 11 in all competitions this season and has shown a major improvement since the turn of the year as he’s become more adept at playing out wide in Steven Gerrard’s system.
However there are times where he’s off the boil and because we have so much possession, it’s easy to see it.
Let’s back him though. Yes, he wasted a couple of chances he perhaps should have passed to Morelos but he’s hungry for a goal and we cannot blame him for that.
In other Rangers news, John Hartson made a big claim about the Gers after Neil Lennon quit Celtic.
