Confirmed Rangers starting XI v Royal Antwerp

Rangers have made one change to their starting XI for the crunch Europa League tie with Royal Antwerp on Thursday evening.

Steven Gerrard has brought Glen Kamara into his side after the Finnish international came off the bench against Dundee United.

Confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, the Bears have named three of the COVID-Five on their bench with Nathan Patterson, Calvin Bassey and Bongani Zungu available.

Gerrard has been hit with a number of injury blows before this round-of-32 clash.

James Tavernier, Ryan Jack and Kemar Roofe have all been ruled out for a number of weeks with a couple of recurring knocks in that trio.

All three would have been destined to start at Ibrox given their importance in the core of his side throughout this incredible unbeaten run.

That gives strong opportunities for others coming back from injuries or some outsiders to stake their claim in this magnificent squad.

The draw for the final 16 of the Europa League is tomorrow (Friday), and there are no seedings or rules on who you can or can’t face for the Bears.

That opens up teams south of the border, and there could be a strong possibility of the Gers facing Manchester United, Arsenal, Spurs or even Leicester next month.
