Rangers were busy during the January transfer window, allowing plenty of their squad to leave to make space for some incomings.
Scott Wright and Jack Simpson initially signed pre-contract deals at Ibrox, but their deals were brought forward to make them permanent.
The likes of George Edmundson, Jordan Jones and Brandon Barker were all shown the exit door, all completing loan moves south of the border.
Barker started his first game for the League One side against Wigan on Sunday.
The 24-year-old came off the bench to score against Bristol Rovers last week, and he looked to build on that with another contribution this weekend.
The winger did just that, setting up Sam Winnall to deliver an assist to help his side come from behind and notch another victory.
According to WyScout, Barker attempted an impressive 14 dribbles and only failed with three of those; as well as making five progressive runs.
Barker is looking to impress, and eventually prove to Steven Gerrard he still has what it takes to make it at Ibrox – he’s made a great start.
It will take more than one goal and an assist to force his way back in at Ibrox though, and he will know that better than anyone this season.
Many Oxford fans have reacted to the display of Barker in their 2-1 victory against Wigan, and they were split on the winger.
Some were left “infuriated” with his defensive ability, but once he got on the ball and showed his talent, he was labelled “immense.”
Ibrox News have picked out some of the best reactions below…
Nobody can get themselves into the game. Liam Kelly hasn’t been involved at all. Mark Sykes looks like a man who hasn’t played for a while. Has Sam Winnall touched the ball in Wigan’s box? Barker yet again seems the biggest threat #OUFC
