Rangers returned to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon, beating Kilmarnock 1-0 at Ibrox.
It wasn’t the easiest of wins, but Steven Gerrard will have been happy with the response from his side after that disappointing draw at Hamilton.
Ryan Jack got the all-important winner, and what a goal it was as he brought down a ball and volleyed home from outside the box.
Jack has been phenomenal since his return from injury.
The midfielder was forced to miss numerous months of action but returned at the perfect time to give the Bears a huge boost in their push for 55.
He scored in his first match back against Ross County, and he was needed again today as Kilmarnock really started to frustrate the home side.
The 28-year-old is usually known for recycling possession in midfield and winning back the ball, but if he can continue to add these vital goals, he will go down in history.
Gerrard is clearly having a massive effect on his game, and we are starting to see those changes when he gets forward into the final third.
Many Rangers fans have reacted to the performance of Jack, and they were all delighted with what they saw from the midfield dynamo.
The majority singled out his moment of magic for the goal, and couldn’t hide their emotions as it hit the back of the net.
