Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield returned to training on Friday morning ahead of the Scottish Premiership clash with Kilmarnock.
The Bears welcome Killie to Ibrox on Saturday afternoon, with Steven Gerrard delivering a double injury boost beforehand.
Jermain Defoe has also returned to training after his own injury, but it was Arfield’s imminent return that has got pulses racing.
Arfield played a huge part in the first half of the season.
Things have certainly started to slow down for the Bears since his absence in the past few months alongside Ryan Jack, who is obviously back too.
The 32-year-old has started 10 games, but also come off the bench 10 times this season too, proving his great effect no matter how it comes.
It is hard to think of any player better between the lines in midfield in Scotland, with Arfield massively effective of bursting into the final third when loose balls are collected.
That has been missed in recent months, and this news will only hand Rangers another gear in their charge towards 55 this season.
Many Bears have reacted to the massive boost, and as you can likely tell, the majority of them were left buzzing with the update.
Rangers shared an image on their official Twitter account of the midfielder, and the reacts were all positive with not one single negative on there.
