'Disgrace', 'Corrupt' - Many Rangers fans take aim at SFA's 'shocking but expected' decision

Many Rangers fans have reacted to the news that Kemar Roofe has been handed a two-game ban by the SFA for a poor challenge on St Johnstone’s Murray Davidson.

The SFA decided that Roofe’s challenge constituted serious foul play and as such the player will miss our next two games.

Rangers appealed the charge but this objection appears to have fallen on deaf ears with Roofe set to miss games against Kilmarnock and Dundee United.

This means we will be without Roofe and Alfredo Morelos for our game against Kilmarnock as the Colombian serves the final game of his three-match suspension.

We should still have enough to beat Killie but we will be seriously lacking upfront as Cedric Itten and Jermain Defoe may be trusted to score the vital goals.

There has been a major outbreak of anger fired towards the SFA by Rangers fans following the decision to charge Roofe and it is easy to see why.

Much of this anger stems from the inconsistency in the SFA’s ruling which follows their decision to not charge Celtic’s Albian Ajeti with a clear dive earlier this week.

Many Gers fans were furious with the ruling but a fair few admitted that they weren’t surprised as these are the kind of decisions that they now expect from the SFA.

It seems that if you wear blue and are cited by the SFA, then you have no chance of a successful appeal.

Here is how some Rangers fans reacted to the news that Roofe has been banned for two games.

In other Rangers news, the Canada boss has raised a concern about Scott Arfield.
