‘Loving this’, ‘Got some spark’ – Many club fans impressed with ‘Unreal’ Rangers loanee’s debut
Many Sunderland fans were left impressed with Rangers loanee Jordan Jones as he made his debut for the club against MK Dons on Tuesday.
Jones started on the wing for the Black Cats’ EFL Trophy game at Stadium MK and he made an immediate impression on his new fans.
The attacker has been given a chance to revive his Gers career after he broke COVID regulations earlier this season and received a lengthy ban.
Jones will either play himself back into Steven Gerrard’s plans while on Wearside or he will impress while in the shop window so the Gers can cash in on their troublesome attacker.
If he is meant to be in the shop window then his price will have gone up last night as he impressed on his first outing for Sunderland.
Jones was withdrawn on the hour mark after impressing with Sunderland perhaps wanting to keep him fit for their next game after his strong start to life in red and white.
The attacker impressed and that is exactly what Rangers will want as they decide what to do with Jones once he returns to Ibrox.
Many Sunderland fans were impressed from the off as he looked to be a level above some of the players in Lee Johnson’s side.
One fan even said that Jones was exactly what Sunderland has been missing in recent years which is some compliment.
Here is how some Sunderland fans viewed Jones’ debut.
In other Rangers news, this Gers player’s Ibrox career is over following the signing of Nnamdi Ofoborh.
