‘Different class’ – Ferguson blown away by ‘Sensational’ display of Rangers talent
Derek Ferguson has been blown away by the “Sensational” performances of Rangers loanee Kai Kennedy with Raith Rovers.
The 18-year-old was at Inverness earlier this season and has made an immediate impact with Raith, scoring and assisting a goal in the 3-1 victory against Dundee.
Ferguson claimed that the youngster has been “different class” and that he is looking forward to seeing what he can deliver at Ibrox.

Speaking on the Blues Brothers Podcast, Ferguson was awestruck by what he has seen recently from the young winger.
“Kai Kennedy – he was different class on Saturday,” he said.
“He was sensational, what a goal he scored. He fits that bill in the final third, I tell you what, I’m looking forward to seeing him.
“His ability is second-to-none, on the ball, different class. He doesn’t look short of confidence, and playing in the Championship, that’s a tough league. His appetite and the quality he has shown, it’s hard.”

Steven Gerrard will be keeping a very close eye on Kennedy.
Rangers finally tied the 18-year-old down to a new contract last month, meaning he will remain at Ibrox until the end of 2023.
It has been previously reported that the likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munich were interested in the winger, proving that he is certainly catching the eye of some of Europe’s biggest sides.
With the likes of Brandon Barker leaving Ibrox on loan yesterday, there could be a spot available for Kennedy to take his chance next season.
Based on Ferguson’s comments, we certainly have something to look forward too.
