‘Worth £60m’, ‘Best player in the league’ – These Bears wowed by ‘outrageous’ player v Hibs
Rangers took another step closer to the title after overcoming a stubborn Hibernian side on Wednesday, with Glen Kamara’s performance standing out.
The midfielder has been essential to Steven Gerrard’s plans since injuries to Scott Arfield and Ryan Jack, and his form just seems to get better and better.
Kamara has now started the last 11 league games in what has been a crucial period for our title challenge, so there’s no doubting his importance to the team.
And many Rangers fans saw a different side to the 25-year-old last night.
He looked a lot more confident on the ball, with one second-half run in particular catching the eye.
Kamara showed a great burst of pace to beat two Hibs players before linking up with Kemar Roofe, who then teed up Ryan Kent to strike from the edge of the area.
Supporters have praised the brilliant footwork he displayed and if he can show that attacking skillset more often we will have some player on our hands.
He was given the joint-highest rating of the match from WhoScored, a 7.7 along with Joe Aribo.
It is incredible to think he signed for just £50,000, and once again Steven Gerrard should be credited for the work he has done in Kamara’s development.
One Bear pointed out that Kamara is great value for money, with another saying he’s now worth £60m, and other reactions to his performance on Wednesday can be found below.
