‘Top trolling’, ‘The rage this will cause’ – Many Bears loving official Rangers tweet on Morelos
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos was in the headlines today after scoring the only goal of the game in the 1-0 win against Hibs on Wednesday night.
And some pundits and rival fans have been trying to create controversy after a coming together involving El Bufalo and Ryan Porteous.
No action was taken by referee Kevin Clancy
The official rangers Twitter account was having none of it this morning and put up a defiant response to the critics.
The tweet simply said, “Good morning” and was accompanied by an image of Morelos with his finger over his lips.
Rangers fans are absolutely loving it.
It is a good morning.
Another brilliant away win that could have been a banana skin, and one step closer to 55.
Is Morelos going to be in trouble? Knowing the Scottish authorities, it’s entirely possible.
Rangers fan Ally McCoist wasn’t too happy about what he’d seen in the game but wasn’t really drawn on it.
Talking on talkSPORT this morning (8am), he said, “I can’t give you an answer, I have no idea. It is so frustrating… He took his goal well enough but he just can’t help himself.”
What will happen, will happen, but we’ve seen many similar incidents go unpunished in Scotland.
In the meantime, we applaud the brilliance and simplicity of the Rangers post – and these fans are absolutely loving it too, with one saying it is “top trolling”.
We couldn’t agree more. Here are the best reactions to the Morelos post…
