‘Needs sold’, ‘Moronic’, ‘Grow up’ – Many Rangers fans savage ‘Liability’ at HT v Hibernian
Rangers travelled to Hibernian on Wednesday night looking to extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Steven Gerrard only made the one change, welcoming back Ryan Jack in midfield to replace Ianis Hagi at Easter Road.
Hibernian have no doubt been one of the Bears’ toughest tests this season, and it was no different tonight as the sides went in level at half-time.
One player who relishes a battle is Alfredo Morelos.
The Colombian international isn’t known for having the best track records in terms of his discipline, and he could be in trouble once again.
Morelos has history against Hibs, especially with Ryan Porteus, and it happened again.
After Porteus made a clearance, El Bufalo appeared to stamp on the defender, something which replays certainly confirmed.
Kevin Clancey decided to take no action, something which could see the compliance officers step in and take action yet again – surprise.
It hasn’t been the finest season of Morelos’ career though, with Kemar Roofe coming in and scoring nearly more than double the number of goals.
Many Rangers fans have reacted to the first-half performance of Morelos, and it’s safe to say that they weren’t happy with what they saw.
The majority destroyed the striker for that incident though, claiming that he is beginning to become a liability for Gerrard to deal with at Ibrox.
