‘First of many’, ‘Sinking ship’, ‘I’m loving it’ – Many Rangers fans react to Celtic man’s reported exit

Many Rangers fans have reacted to the news that Celtic defender Jeremie Frimpong may be on his way out of Parkhead.

Raman Bhardwaj reported on Tuesday that Frimpong is ‘on his way out‘ at Celtic before claiming that the defender is in talks with another club.

The highly-rated 20-year-old has made 22 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Hoops this season with the current holders failing in their title defence.

Celtic have had an absolute disaster of a season.

Serious questions have been asked of Neil Lennon with the club being knocked out of Europe twice, knocked out of the Scottish League Cup and miles behind the Gers in the title race this season.

There is very little to be positive about for Celtic fans at the moment as Rangers look certain so secure 55 and prove to be the dominant force in Scottish football once again.

Frimpong’s departure will no doubt unsettle Hoops fans further as the defender has been one of few bright lights in their side this season.

Many Rangers fans have reacted to this news in the same way with plenty of Gers supporters claiming that Frimpong’s departure will be the first of many.

There were also Rangers fans recalling the claims that Frimpong was better than James Tavernier with that claim now surely proved false.

Celtic were described as a sinking ship by some and it looks as if this is a fair assessment with results hardly improving under Lennon in recent weeks.

Here is how some Rangers fans reacted to Frimpong’s reported departure.

In other Rangers news, the Gers have been handed a blow in their efforts to bring Scott Wright to Inrox this month.
