Ryan Jack sends Instagram message to Scott Wright after Rangers confirm transfer

Rangers have confirmed the signing of Aberdeen attacker Scott Wright on Monday morning.

Unfortunately, it appears as though we’re going to have to wait until the summer with it currently standing as a pre-contract deal.

Steven Gerrard admitted that he wanted to bring Wright to Ibrox this month, with potential swap deals with the likes of Ross McCrorie being touted.

Ryan Jack is another player who made the switch to Rangers from Pittodrie, and he has already reacted to this latest deal.

The midfielder took to his personal Instagram account on Monday afternoon, and it was clear that he was delighted with the news.

“Welcome to the Teddy’s Scott Wright,” he wrote. “Happy Monday.”

Rangers are making themselves the masters of these pre-contract deals.

Joe Aribo and Glen Kamara have both proven that they can arrive at Ibrox and make massive impacts, so now it is the time of Wright to add some quality.

The 23-year-old has only scored twice and added a single assist this season, but Gerrard will be hoping that he can thrive in a better side.

Rangers dominate every side they come up against in the Scottish Premiership, and that could see Wright transform into one of the best playmakers’ in the league.

Ianis Hagi and Aribo are his immediate competition, but based on first impressions from Jack, it appears as though the Bears squad is delighted with this acquisition.
