Steven Gerrard singles out Rangers moment v Ross County as ‘favourite’ this season

Steven Gerrard has singled out Ryan Jack’s goal in Rangers 5-0 win over Ross County as one of his favourite goals of the season.

There has been plenty to choose from for the Bears, but this crisp flowing move will have reminded the boss of his Liverpool days.

Jack had been missing for months through injury and made it the perfect return at Ibrox by getting his name on the scoresheet.

Rangers

Rangers shared the goal on their official Twitter account on Sunday morning, showing all 19 passes before Jack fired home.

Gerrard said: “It was one of my favourite goals of the season.”

It was the perfect goal, with most of the squad involved.

James Tavernier, Bongani Zungu and finally Ianis Hagi all played massive roles in keeping ball before making it count against the helpless County.

Rangers

This just screams everything good about Rangers this season.

Everybody can talk about how we haven’t had any real challengers in the Scottish Premiership, but that is because they can’t match the standards that we have set.

Gerrard has transformed the club and has got them playing some of the best football we have seen in years in Glasgow.

Jack is never known for his goalscoring, but the fact he can push into the final third and smash home after a move like this just shows the squad are loving the football on show.

Long may this continue.
