‘Have a go’ – Tam McManus predicts result of Rangers clash v Ross County
Tam McManus has backed Rangers to beat Ross County convincingly in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
The PLZ pundit has predicted that the Bears will return to winning ways by beating County 3-1 at Ibrox after that draw against Motherwell.
Steven Gerrard has welcomed back the likes of Ryan Jack and Kemar Roofe this week, as he plays with a near full-strength squad,
Speaking on the Football Show on PLZ Soccer, McManus claimed that Ross County could play straight into the hands of Rangers tomorrow.
“I think he’ll get the best out of them up there, but I don’t think they’ll get anything at Ibrox,” he said.
“I think they’ll go and have a go, and that will set it up nicely for Rangers – I think Rangers will win 3-1.”
Ross County have enjoyed a fruitful month in the Scottish Premiership after welcoming John Hughes to the club as manager.
Impressive wins against Aberdeen and Hibernian will have given them great confidence, but Rangers will know that they are a different test to the rest of the league.
Gerrard will want his side to bounce back from that disappointment against Motherwell, and that makes them a scary proposition for any club.
With the likes of Roofe to come off the bench, it could be a very long afternoon for Hughes and County, regardless of whether McManus backed them to score.
