John Hartson makes big Rangers admission after Celtic draw v Livingston
John Hartson had admitted that Rangers will win the Scottish Premiership title this season after Celtic’s draw with Livingston on Wednesday night.
Neil Lennon’s side drew 2-2 at Almondvale, with Scott Brown getting sent off in the process, meaning Celtic have now failed to win any of their last four league games.
Rangers can move 23 points clear at the top of the Premiership if they beat Ross County on Saturday but ex-Celtic striker Hartson has already conceded defeat in the search for a 10th title in a row.
“A stark remind Celtic are not winning the league,” the ex-Welsh international said on his personal Twitter account after the draw at Livingston.
Hartson livid after Livi draw
Sit back and soak it in, fellow Bears. This is one of the most incredible meltdowns we have seen at a club in the history of the game.
Lennon’s side are well and truly in the mud with the Celtic manager’s decision to take his squad to Dubai looking more and more pathetic by the day.
He can stand by it as much as he wants but that decision was not only a threat to the health and safety of many people but it was also a ridiculous thing to do to reward your players when they’ve been playing so badly.
Surely, they must have known there would be massive questions asked of their trip to Dubai. Was it really that worth it?
From our point of view, we’re disgusted that when there’s a global pandemic that our rivals would do such a thing. What’s happened since then is a punishment but we won’t be happy if the SFA and the Scottish Government simply sweep this under the rug.
In other Rangers news, the latest update on Scott Wright’s move to Ibrox could derail a January transfer.
