‘Finally got it right’ – Alan Rough reacts as report shares major Rangers development

Alan Rough has claimed that Rangers have “finally got it right” after adding George Letham to the board at Ibrox.

The Scottish Sun reported on Wednesday that Letham has been added as a director, and now has a key role alongside his 4.33% stake.

Rough claimed that the Bears now have a board full of investors that are happy to put their money into the club, and who only want to see success at Ibrox.

Speaking on Wednesday’s edition of The Football Show, Rough admitted that Rangers fans will be delighted with the latest update.

“I think they’ve finally got it right,” he said.

“I think if any of the Rangers supporters out there have seen what’s happened to their club over the years, they will now look at that board and say, ‘these are the people we wish we had a long time ago.’

“People who have got Rangers at heart, and more so, people who have got money and are more than happy to put money into the club – that’s the biggest thing of the lot.”

The success on the pitch is finally being joined with success off it, too.

Douglas Park and Dave King have been the big names in the board at Ibrox, and with Club 1872 now being added to that, everything is looking up in the stands.

All that is missing is that long-awaited piece of silverware, and what better way to do that than by lifting the Scottish Premiership title.

It is bound to happen sooner rather than later, and with this latest news, it appears as though the board are planning on making this a regular occurrence – bring on the dominance.
