‘Perfect’, ‘Brilliant’, ‘Excellent’ – Many Rangers fans react to injury boost on ‘Vital player’
Rangers are edging ever closer to their full-strength side for their Scottish Premiership clash with Ross County on Saturday.
Ryan Jack is back in training, and Steven Gerrard could also welcome back Kemar Roofe for the clash at Ibrox.
The Scottish Herald reported on Tuesday that the striker is set to return to training and offer fresh ideas in the final third.
Roofe has missed the past two games.
The 28-year-old was forced off at half-time in the Old Firm victory against Celtic at the start of January and has been missing ever since.
Steven Gerrard will be scratching his head this week, with plenty of options now available to him for the game with Ross County.
Alfredo Morelos struggled against Motherwell, and Cedric Itten scored the equaliser – something which led to Gerrard admitting he is pushing for a start.
Jack was fit enough for that game but was left out of the squad as a precaution, which is something which could happen to Roofe this weekend.
Roofe will be hoping not, as he looks to continue his charge towards the Golden Boot, currently one goal behind James Tavernier and Kevin Nisbet.
Many Rangers fans have reacted to the major boost, and they were delighted that one of their star-men could return this weekend.
The majority admitted that the Bears have missed his natural ability in the box, something which is hard to argue after the draw with Motherwell.
