‘Is he for real?’, ‘Delusions of grandeur’ – Many Rangers fans blast Lennon’s latest comments

Many Rangers fans have reacted to Neil Lennon’s latest comments as he stated that there is an agenda against the Hoops following recent criticism.

The club has been widely criticised for their mid-season break in Dubai which saw a large portion of the squad forced into self-isolation on their return to the UK following a positive COVID test in the camp.

Lennon, speaking on Monday, is quoted by Raman Bhardwaj as saying that there is an agenda against Celtic and that the club is being held to a higher standard compared to other clubs.

These comments are simply ludicrous.

Celtic made a huge mistake in flying halfway around the world for a mid-season break during a global pandemic.

The criticism they are getting is absolutely fair and any other club that did the same would be getting the same treatment and rightly so.

These comments sound like they’re coming from a manager who knows his days are numbered as he looks for a way to shift the blame away from his management as the Hoops failed to win again last weekend.

Some Rangers fans were amused by Lennon’s comments with several claiming that they couldn’t believe that the Hoops boss was attempting to play the victim card.

Others seem to be more angered with his comments as they weren’t sure why Lennon was trying to defend the trip to Dubai when the club had already apologised for it.

There is some mess at Parkhead at the moment.
