‘Juggernaut’ – Tam McManus predicts result of Rangers clash v Motherwell
Tam McManus has predicted that Rangers will pick up another three points in their Scottish Premiership clash with Motherwell on Sunday afternoon.
The pundit has backed the Gers to pick up a 3-1 victory at Fir Park, and continue their charge towards picking up the title this season.
Rangers have already beaten the Well twice this season, scoring eight goals and only conceding two – one in each fixture.
Speaking on PLZ Soccer’s The Football Show, McManus claimed that the Bears are looking unstoppable in the Scottish Premiership.
“I think Motherwell score,” he said.
“I think Motherwell have got a goal in them, but Rangers will be too strong, I think they’re just a juggernaut at the minute. They just look as if they’re going to turn up and churn out wins every week.
“I’m going for 3-1 to Rangers.”
Three points are three points, but we would like to see Rangers return to keeping clean-sheets, but maybe that’s the perfectionist in us.
Steven Gerrard will know that the Steelmen are struggling this season, but the appointment of Graham Alexander could give the Fir Park outfit a much-needed boost.
Motherwell haven’t won in 11 games in the Scottish Premiership, only managing four draws and seven defeats in that run of fixtures.
Rangers want three points or nothing, no matter who they are playing, and the way they are picking up wins relentlessly, gives us no doubt that they will pick up another win this weekend.
