‘Straight swap for Lewandowski and it’s on’ – Many Rangers fans react to striker transfer report
Rangers fans have been reacting on Twitter after striker Alfredo Morelos was linked with a shock move to Germany giants Bayern Munich.
According to Spanish news outlet DonBalon, Bayern are trying to find themselves a long-term successor to Robert Lewandowski.
At the age of 32, the Poland striker remains one of the best at what he does in the world with 23 goals already to his name this season in 21 appearances across all competitions.
However, no player can continue playing forever and that is why Bayern reportedly have their sights on Morelos.
The 24-year-old Gers striker has been strongly linked with a move away from Ibrox for what seems like an eternity but there’s a feeling this season might be his last in Glasgow.
Speaking on PLZ Soccer’s The Football Show recently, ex-Hibs player Tam McManus has claimed that “Morelos will definitely go“.
And Rangers fans have given a mixed reaction to the strange report claiming that Bayern want Morelos with the Colombia international linked with Lille in the summer and not being in great form since.
Here is what they had to say:

We love El Bufalo and if he does leave us this year, we would want to see him join a top team in Europe or in the Premier League.
However, there’s simply no way Bayern would see him as a long-term replacement for Lewandowski based on his form in the last year.
Sure, Morelos scored twice at Pittodrie on Sunday but the Colombian’s not been anywhere near as good in the last 12 months as he was before.
It’s all well and good scoring for fun in Scotland but Lewandowski has made absolute mincemeat of the Bundesliga and the Champions League.
As out-and-out centre-forwards go, not many are better than him and Bayern are bound to seek out someone a lot more reliable than Morelos when it comes to replacing their prolific Pole.
In other Rangers news, Charlie Adam claims this Gers forward could join an English club.
