‘Excellent news’, ‘Absolutely brilliant’ – Many Bears thrilled by official Rangers update

While Celtic carry on making the headlines for all the wrong reasons, Rangers are doing us proud on and off the pitch.

The latest news from Ibrox is that the club has offered the stadium as a vaccination centre as the country tries to get to grips with the COVID pandemic.

In a tweet put out on Wednesday morning, Rangers said, “This morning, our Managing Director wrote to Her Majesty’s Government and the Scottish Government to offer Ibrox Stadium as a vaccination centre.”

In the accompanying statement, Rangers said that they had looked for relevant expertise among their staff who they would make available too.

It’s so different to Celtic who, as some fans pointed out, are seemingly doing their best to spread the virus after their ‘warm weather training’ trip to Dubai.

They came back from Dubai with a positive test for Christopher Jullien and 14 of their players had to self-isolate.

Some other fans pointed out that it would be hilarious if Celtic fans had to come to Ibrox to be vaccinated. And maybe the vaccinations could be done in the trophy room after 55 is officially confirmed.

We couldn’t be any prouder of our club than we are at the moment.

And these fans feel exactly the same way…
