‘Absolutely savage’: Many Bears absolutely loving brutal Alex Rae response to Celtic slip v Hibs
Celtic dropped another two points last night when Hibs scored a dramatic injury-time equaliser and it means that the gap at the top of the Premiership up to Rangers is a huge 21 points.
It’s another blow in a disaster of a season for Celtic who had 13 players self-isolating after a ‘warm weather training’ camp to Dubai made the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Former Rangers star Alex Rae was quick to pounce after the game last night, which Celtic must have thought they had in the bag.
He wrote on his personal Twitter account, “Full time at Parkhead 1-1. An important point for Celtic who now reduce the gap to 21 points.”
Brutal.
Celtic still have three games in hand and could possibly reduce the gap at the top to 12 points, but there’s no evidence to suggest that they can make that happen, despite what the pundits have been predicting.
And Gers fans were absolutely loving the subtle but ‘savage’ takedown from Rae.
The season couldn’t be going any worse for Celtic and it couldn’t be going much better for Gers, who are seriously looking like they can go the season unbeaten.

Next up for Rangers is Motherwell on Sunday, while Celtic play on Saturday when they could fall even further behind in the race.
Let’s whisper it for now, but that race is looking well and truly done.
