Rangers fans have hit out at fierce rivals Celtic following an update that rules 13 of their first-team players out of action.

The Bhoys will be without manager Neil Lennon and several important players against Hibernian on Monday as they self isolate.

That could prove critical as Rangers’ win over Aberdeen has taken the lead at the top to 22 points, an advantage that could remain after the match at Celtic Park.

As a result, a lot of fans have been mocking the club with sights set on a first title win for ten years.

Others have focused on the cause of this significant issue – the fact Celtic increased the risk of the squad contracting Covid-19 by travelling to Dubai.

To make matters worse, the only player who has tested positive is Christopher Jullien, and the defender should not have even been on the trip since he is out with a long-term injury.

It brings into question the purpose of the trip, with Nicola Sturgeon commenting and saying aspects of the trip should be looked into.

For Celtic it is yet another disastrous development this season and one that could mean Rangers winning the title at an absolute canter.

Here are the best reactions from Rangers fans…

Some Gers fans have made note of the fact that this update is the latest in a litany of misteps from Celtic this term, all of which have likely contributed to their underperformance.

In other Rangers news, some fans were in awe at a midfielder’s performance against Aberdeen.
